Elizabeth Carter graduated Cum Laude in 2007 from TCNJ with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Interactive Multimedia. While at TCNJ Elizabeth participated in a year and a half of undergraduate research with Dr. Monisha Pulimood on the Optimization of a RISC based Virtual Machine in Mobile Computations (please see https://portal.acm.org/ft_gateway.cfm?id=1185634&type=pdf&coll=ACM&dl=ACM&CFID=691040&CFTOKEN=71717785 and https://portalparts.acm.org/1230000/1227310/bm/backmatter.pdf p. 623 ). Elizabeth also helped establish and served as President for the campus organization Women in Computing and Science. During summers and for the past two years she worked for Merrill Lynch as a Technology Analyst, the last group she worked in provided framework technologies for the company. In the fall she will begin pursuing her PhD in Computer Science at Lehigh University with a GK-12 Fellowship as part of STEM in the Lehigh Valley.
