Junior Biology major Emily Van Malden has been selected to receive the School for Field Studies’ “Distinguished Student Research Award” for the Fall 2013 program at their Center for Tropical Island Biodiversity and Conservation Studies in Panama.
According to the School for Field Studies, the award is presented to one student each semester, from any of the Center’s field programs, who has demonstrated exceptional skill in contributing to the Center’s research agenda. The award recognizes not only excellence and diligence in research, but also teamwork and leadership during the semester. Congratulations, Emily!
