Erenrich from Rutgers University Graduate School-New Brunswick and TCNJ alumnus Alex Lopez (a current Rutgers graduate student) to learn about graduate study and undergraduate summer research opportunities at Rutgers through RiSE. RiSE is jointly sponsored by two of the nation’s leading public research institutions—Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey and the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)–Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. We choose 30 outstanding undergraduates from across the U.S. and its territories to participate in 10 weeks of cutting-edge research in the sciences (biological, physical, and social), math, engineering, and exciting interdisciplinary areas. As a RiSE Scholar, you will work under the guidance of a carefully matched faculty mentor.An attractive financial support package includes a substantial stipend, free on-campus housing for eligible participants, and travel reimbursement. RiSE alumni have an outstanding record of success.
